What brought you to the GettyDrewHomes team? What keeps you committed to being a part of it?

I spent many years as an individual agent and had lots of success growing my business. However, I could never quite master being in two places at one time. I decided to try the team approach and teach young, vibrant, energetic individuals the business. I love mentoring them-they keep me laughing in this CRAZY business!

What is your role on this team?

I am the mentor and leader of GettyDrewHomes. My teammates sometimes look to me as their “Mom”-my endearing term for them are my expensive, non-biological “kids”.

Why did you choose your current home or neighborhood? How does your home match your lifestyle?

I built my home recently. I look at houses all day every day, so I decided to build a home to fit my lifestyle. Main attractions-home office with great view, huge kitchen for TONS of entertaining, outdoor patio and open porch. I LOVE to be outside! My neighborhood supports my active lifestyle-workout facility, tennis, and golf.

Tell me a story about a time in your life when you struggled with a difficult decision.

I have relocated to several different cities and states. One difficult decision was in uprooting my children and moving back to Indiana (which is my home) from south Florida. That was all that they had known, and they were in elementary school. Moves can be traumatic, but in the end, the comforts and the values of the Midwest have served my family well.

Tell me a story about your neighborhood or central Indiana in general that makes you proud to call it “home”.

I am proud to be a native Hoosier (whatever that is!!!!). When I work with people moving here from all over the country and world, they are consistently amazed at the friendliness of the people here. It is truly a great place to raise a family, to work, and to live a safe and happy life.
